AN EXHIBITION OF LARGE-FORMAT IMMERSIVE VISUALS
As part of the Rugby World Cup 2023 and the Olympic and Paralympic Games 2024, the Cité de l’espace has created the “Space and Sport” exhibition until December 2025: it highlights the similarities between top-level sportsmen and women and astronauts, bringing together these two communities which often fascinate each other
Space and Rugby Exhibition: A Shared Perspective by Cité de l’espace and Stade Toulousain.
A SHARED PERSPECTIVE IN A JOINT EXHIBITION
Find out how rugby players and astronauts put their bodies to the test. These two communities must indeed learn to know their body and sometimes to exceed their limits, maintain it and even prepare it for challenges, with a view to performance and success.
In space and on the pitch, a strong mind is as important as a healthy body. Before a space mission or a big match, astronauts and rugby players work with coaches and psychologists to prepare themselves to resist pressure and stress.
Whether in the field of space exploration or rugby, success can only be collective. Astronauts and rugby players are members of teams in which the sharing of skills, mutual aid and solidarity are put to the service of the success of the space mission or the sporting competition.
