2017 Astronautics meetings

DateDu  01 march au 14 june 2017

The Astronautics meetings focus on devices, men and women and every technique that enable us to explore space. They are organised in collaboration with the CNES, the French association for Aeronautics and Astronautics and the Cité de l’espace.

On October 4th, 1957, space travelling became possible with the launch of the first artificial satellite – Spoutnik.

The Astronautics era was born on that day, as well as every other activity derived from it: observing and monitoring planets, communicating, facilitating everyday activities, observing the Universe to discover our origins… The Solar system became our planet’s suburb.
